Ethics.bio defines the ethical principles behind every guide, rating, review and educational article produced by ronarn AS. These principles exist to protect readers, prevent conflicts of interest and ensure our work stays independent and evidence-based.

1. Independence comes first

Editorial content is never influenced by brands, advertisers or affiliate partners. This includes:

  • no paid inclusion
  • no paid rankings or “premium placement”
  • no acceptance of free products in exchange for coverage
  • no communication with brands about upcoming content

If a product appears in a comparison, it is there because it deserves to be – not because someone paid for it.

2. Evidence over hype

All health, DNA and skincare topics must be treated with caution and grounded in evidence. We do not:

  • promote exaggerated claims
  • promote unrealistic results
  • repeat marketing language from brands

When evidence is weak or conflicting, we say so clearly.

3. Protecting the reader

Ethical content must protect users from misinformation, unsafe advice and misleading claims, especially in health-related contexts.

  • Clear disclaimers where appropriate
  • No medical advice outside general educational context
  • No encouragement of risky or unverified treatments

4. Ethical affiliate usage

If an article contains affiliate links, they must:

  • be disclosed clearly at the top of the page
  • never affect rankings, recommendations or coverage
  • be used only for products already independently selected

5. Corrections and accountability

Mistakes can happen. When they do, we:

  • review user reports quickly
  • fix confirmed errors as soon as possible
  • note significant factual corrections on the page

Readers should always be able to trust that our content is accurate to the best of our ability.

6. No conflicts of interest

No one involved in writing, editing or publishing comparison content may:

  • hold financial interests in the brands featured
  • accept gifts, samples or sponsorships
  • receive incentives based on product performance or affiliate revenue

7. Ethical use of AI

AI-generated or AI-assisted content must:

  • be fact-checked before publication
  • reflect current evidence and safe recommendations
  • never generate medical advice or unverified claims
